Wave of Faith

With every breath I take,
I take in faith;
For it's You who sustains me.
With every step I take,
I take in faith;
For it's You who sustains me.
With every grasp I take,
I take in faith;
For it's You who sustains me.

Oh glorify You, Mighty G-D,
Oh glorify You, L-RD;
For You are the Great I AM.

With every word that I speak,
I speak in faith;
For it's Your Spirit that indwells me.
With every prayer I utter,
I utter in faith;
For it's Your Spirit that dwells in me.
With every praise I proclaim,
I proclaim in faith;
For it's Your Spirit that indwells me.

Oh I praise You, G-D.

Why Pay Less When You Can Pay More; The American Way

Greg Hawkins' sates (see the link below) the obvious, in the video link below. Although it is the obvious, I do respect that he puts it out on the internet for everyone to hopefully learn.

While in the Navy my wife and I had moved over ten times, and had been part of many congregations of various denominations. I also had the privilege to have led interdenominational services onboard ships. People either want to learn more about G-D or they don't. In order to learn you need to pray to G-D, read the scripture, and be part of a believing community.

Basically, this isn't rocket science and we (believers) really don't need to spend a lot of finances on something that we should already know.

Today's youth, above all, want and are searching for truth. Not mine, nor yours, but THE truth. The only truth that exists is G-D's W-RD. If people want entertained then we shouldn't be sending a message that G-D is nothing more then theater at its best. G-D is the Creator of the Universe, and is to be revered and honored as L-RD of lords and K-NG of kings and not someone we amuse ourselves toward.

In time, after years of further research on this subject, and tens of millions of dollars spent there will be a video and book series stating that simplicity is the key.

Maybe the Messiah had something when he went into the wilderness for forty days without flash, glitz, and powerpoint; just G-D breathed scripture?

Deut 6:4-9

"4 Hear, O Israel: the L-RD our G-D is one L-RD: 5 and thou shalt love the L-RD thy G-D with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might..."

Matt 4:4

 4Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God."(NIV)

A Teachable Moment

The following event took place a few months ago, late August 2007; but, was truly a teachable moment.
When we are teaching a class and a student does something that illustrates a main point in the lesson plan we call this a teachable moment.
Frankly, my life seems to be one teachable moment after another, and I don't seem to be getting the lesson plan.

The other night I was about to go to bed and all of a sudden chaos broke loose.

I found myself running down the rabbit hole of despair and self pity. Every word that came out of my wife's mouth was being filtered through my ears/brain as a self-imposed, selfishness filter of despair.

After about an hour I had already surpassed the prodigal son's despair. I could teach hogs how to wallow in slop.
I was so proficient. I couldn't think of anyone but myself, and my own inadequacies.

I can not speak about anyone else; however, I can address myself and how G-D addressed this with me. As hours passed through the night and a new day was dawning, there was another new wonderful fruit just waiting to break forth and give me joy. I could not hardly wait for the long awaited gift from my long nights turmoil, and self effacing. To my great surprise I had a migraine.

As the migraine took hold I realized I had been focusing on me, myself, and I.

G-D, my Father and Creator was no where to be found upon my lips or thoughts. The scripture is clear that we live not for our selves, but for G-D. If we look at ourselves we can only see despair and inadequacies, especially if we've spent any time with our Father, G-D. In of ourselves we are, and have nothing. Only by G-D's Grace, Mercy, and Love can we know and accept all that He has for us to accomplish, on behalf of Him.

Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 6:34
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

When we keep our eyes on G-D, we won't be chased down a dark rabbit hole। G-D desires that we seek Him in order that He can take care of our needs. Sometimes we let the world take hold and although we live in the world we are not to be of the world. As my focus sought the face of G-D's, instead of my own, the despair and migraine dissipated.

Do you desire the fruits of despair and migraines, or the fruits of the Kingdom and Righteousness?

What Wondrous Love G-D Has ...

What is it that G-D wants from us? Why are we here?

What wondrous Love is this…

G-D desires for us to Love Him with all of our hearts, with all of our souls, and with all of our might. Deut. 6:4; Matt 22:37

There are two choices (pure white, and tainted). G-D desires for us to Love Him with all of our might, heart, and soul. If we choose not to Love G-D then he gives us our desires (living in the chaotic absence of G-D almighty) and says depart from me, I never knew you (sent to an eternal torment of fire and brimstone with the knowledge that G-D the Creator considers you no longer in existence).Matt 7:21-23 For, if we do not want G-D in all His honor and glory we will not have any part of Him. Since Love is of G-D and/or resides within G-D we can only know Love by being with G-D. I John 4:7,8 Since Peace, and Joy are of G-D and/or resides within G-D we can only know Peace, and Joy by being with G-D. One has to accept the Whole Creator, not a portion.

G-D is our Father and Creator. He is the One that sustains our life and gives us breath. Outside of G-D we can not draw breath, nor have life. All things are held together through G-D. Colossians 1:15-18 Outside of G-D’s presence our sanity and essence become disorderly. For in the beginning G-D created the heavens and the earth. The earth was dark and void until G-D spoke life and order into His creation. Gen. 1

“[Jesus] is the image of the invisible God, the first-born [prototokos] of all creation; for in him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or authorities [these words in Greek refer to the hierarchical angelic powers]-all things were created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. Colossians 1:15-17

"In the beginning was the Word, [logos] and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God; [i.e., before creation] all things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made." John 1:1-3

[But] in the last of these days He has spoken to us in [the person of a] Son, Whom He appointed Heir and lawful Owner of all things, also by and through Whom He created the worlds and the reaches of space and the ages of time-[that is] [He made, produced, built, operated, and arranged them in order]. He is the sole expression of the glory of God-[the Light-being, the out-raying or radiance of the divine],-and He is the perfect imprint and very image of [God's] nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power..." Hebrews 1:2-3 (Amplified Bible)”

What Do You Hear?

I really like today's bible verse.

It's something to think about:

1 Chronicles 16:11-12

“Look to the L-RD and his strength; seek his face always. Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced.”

This verse means if you want to find and reside within the Kingdom of G-D, Look to the L-RD and his strength ..... David understood walking in the Kingdom and in the presence of the L-RD. In this particular passage David gives a Psalm of thanksgiving, and knows from whom all things come. Words don't just come forth; but, His relationship and experience come out of David's mouth:

Psalm 19:14

“14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.”

The neat part of sitting within G-D's "Kingdom Theater of Life" w/ G-D at center stage (all transcending time simultaneously; for time exists within G-D); we all hear, see, and know the same W-RD, Grace, L-VE, and especially Righteousness.

Along side of us sits David hearing the Creator, and Matthew listening [Matt 6:33-34=> “33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof”].

These two hear the same message. What do you hear?

Knocking at the Door

What's neat about G-D is that He doesn't ask us to do something He isn't already willing to do. He is willing to knock at the doors of our hearts expecting us to open them at a moments notice, always waiting. He then, tells us to seek and knock at His door. If we do, we will find. Which means that our Father is eagerly waiting to give to those who ask Him.

Rev 3:20

 20‘Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.

Matt. 7:7-11

7“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8“For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 9“Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone? 10“Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he? 11“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!
